XTHIS CLUB IS ABANDONEDX

This is a club for all of you who enjoy "The Black Jewels Trilogy" by Anne Bishop.

Rules
1. You must have read at least one of the books in the three book series to join.
2. Once you join you must place the club icon in your journal, and may be placed in your signiture. If this isn't done, your icon will be taken off of the list.
3. No flaming or fighting, we may all be powerful witches, warlords, etc. but we can all play nice
4. It would be nice to comment on people's submitted deviations, but you don't have to.
5. Please devwatch the club ^_^

Affiliates
If you wish to be an affiliate, send a NOTE to the club that has the subject "AFFILIATE"

Joining
1. Send a NOTE to the club with the subject "JOIN" DO NOT COMMENT ON THE PAGE, THESE WILL MOST LIKELY BE MISSED! Please read the rules before you join.
2. Please tell me your favorite character in the book, if you want!
3. Also, in the body of your note, please verify which rank you would like to be.
4. If you do not plan to submit any art, you can only choose to be a landen or a Blood male/female.
5. If you choose to be a Queen, please tell me the name of the area you rule (you can make it up).
You can choose among the following:

-Females-
landen - non-Blood of any race
Blood female - a general term for all females of the Blood; mostly refers to any Blood female who doesn't wear Jewels
witch - a Blood female who wears Jewels but isn't one of the other hierarchial levels; also refers to any Jeweled female.
Healer - a witch who heals physical wounds and illnesses; equal in status to a Priestess and a Prince
Priestess - a witch who cares for alters, Sanctuaries and Dark Altars; witnesses handfasts and marriages; performs offerings; equal in status to a Healer and a Prince.
Black Widow - a witch who heals the mind; weaves the tangled webs of dreams and visions; is trained in illusions and poisons.
Queen - a witch who rules the Blood; is considered to be the land's heart and the Blood's moral center; as such, she is focal point of their society.

-Males-
landen - non-Blood of any race
Blood Male - a general term for all males of the Blood; also refers to any Blood male who doesn't wear Jewels
Warlord - a Jeweled male equal in status to a witch
Prince - a Jeweled male equal in status to a Priestess or a Healer
Warlord Prince - a dangerous, extremely aggressive Jeweled male; in status, slightly lower than a Queen

Submitting Art
Send a NOTE to the club with the subject "SUBMISSION" and with the link to your art in the body of the note. I will give full credit to the author when the art is submitted in the club.

Contests and Prizes
There is no set date for when contests will come up. When a contest is in place, I will put links to all submissions in a journal. Once the voting begins, I will collect votes by NOTE with the subject "VOTE" and the winner will be chosen by the greatest number of votes. If there is a tie, another voting session will begin.
Prizes will be points for your jewel rate. Here is how it works:

White = 0-5 points
Yellow = 6-10 points
Tiger Eye = 11-15 points
Rose = 16-20 points
Summer-sky = 21-25 points
Purple Dusk = 26-30 points
Opal = 31-35 points
Green = 36-40 points
Sapphire = 41-45 points
Red = 46-50 points
Gray - 51-55 points
Ebon-gray - 56-60 points
Black - Administration
Ebony - Founder of the Club

Every time you submit a piece of art you earn one point for your jewel.
For contests, 1st place is 4 points, 2nd place is 3 points, and 3rd place is 2 points. Ebon-gray is as far up as you can go, unless you become a part of the administration to be a black jewel or I leave my job as the founder for ebony.
